Algorithm Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and improve DL/ML training datasets and associated workflows.
• Assess and enhance DL/ML model performance.
• Compare and benchmark various DL/ML models.
• Develop and implement algorithms to improve signal-to-noise ratios across diverse image conditions (extracting information from noisy images).
• Collaborate with local and global teams throughout all phases of the product lifecycle.
• Work with product engineering teams to define performance specifications and deliver accordingly.
• Provide technical support during product demonstrations and beta testing.
• Partner with cross-functional domain experts on customer engagement projects.
  

Required Qualifications

• PhD with 0+ years of industry experience, OR M.Tech/Master’s with at least 3 years of experience, OR B.Tech/Bachelor’s with at least 5 years of experience.
• PhD candidates with less than 3 years’ experience are acceptable if the PhD is from a Tier 1 institution.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in algorithm development.
• 3+ years of experience in computer vision.
• 3+ years of experience in image processing.
• 3+ years of experience in C++.
• Strong background in image processing, computer vision, or pattern recognition.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Python, C/C++, Linux shell scripting, and object-oriented programming.
• Ability to work with source code control software.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in product-based companies (current or past).
• Demonstrated stability in career history (minimum of 2 years in an organization, no long employment gaps).
