AI SDE 2 Backend - Hybrid

As an AI Software Development Engineer II at Hiver, you will have a critical role to play in building and scaling our product to thousands of users globally. You will work on complex technical challenges to make the architecture scalable, monitor and improve system performance, and enhance reliability. Your responsibilities will include owning the complete product lifecycle, ensuring code quality, coaching junior engineers, estimating project timelines accurately, brainstorming innovative solutions, and troubleshooting distributed systems. Key Responsibilities: - Own the complete product lifecycle, including defining product features, addressing tech debt, and deciding technical approaches - Act as a role model for code quality, participate in code reviews, and promote best coding practices - Coach junior engineers through code comments, documents, and presentations - Track record of assessing project timelines accurately and working with the team to meet them - Engage in brainstorming sessions, design innovative solutions, and oversee successful releases - Instrument and troubleshoot distributed systems Qualifications Required: - Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Backend developer in Python or other backend scripting languages - Minimum 6 months of experience in AI feature development - Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, low-level design, and system design - Experience building and maintaining production-grade services for active users - Deep understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySql) and some experience with NoSQL databases - Experience with distributed systems, cloud platform providers (AWS, GCP), and Kubernetes is a plus (Note: Company details were not provided in the job description.),
