As an AI Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for designing and building cutting-edge LLM-powered applications that enhance workflows in the Life Sciences domain. You will have the exciting opportunity to work on real-world GenAI solutions that combine automation, data, and intelligence. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions using LangChain, LLM APIs, and Python frameworks. - Build scalable integrations between data pipelines, APIs, and AI systems in the cloud. - Implement Agentic AI features for autonomous reasoning, task planning, and contextual decision-making. - Develop and optimize backend services using Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django) with AWS services like Lambda, S3, and EC2. - Create modular scripts for data handling, prompt engineering, and workflow automation. - Work with vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Chroma) for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines. - Collaborate with domain experts to convert Life Sciences workflows into intelligent software solutions. - Ensure high standards of code quality, documentation, and DevOps best practices. **Required Skills & Experience:** - 3+ years in software engineering with solid Python ecosystem experience (frameworks, libraries, scripting). - 1+ year of hands-on experience in Generative AI development (LangChain, OpenAI, or similar LLM frameworks). - Proficiency in Python API frameworks (FastAPI/Flask) and data libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Requests, JSON). - Strong working knowledge of AWS Cloud Services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, EC2). - Experience developing or integrating LLM-based tools such as chatbots, summarizers, or intelligent assistants. - Familiarity with Git, Docker, and REST API integration. - Exposure to Life Sciences, Healthcare, or Pharmaceutical data is a plus. - Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. **Good to Have:** - Experience in prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). - Knowledge of MLOps or CI/CD pipelines for AI projects. - Experience deploying AI services or Python-based automation tools to production. - Understanding of cloud security and data governance principles.
