Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and assisting with audits. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial success and growth of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General Accounting:

    Maintain and update the companys financial records, including ledgers, journals, and bank statements.
  • Financial Reporting:

    Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable:

    Process vendor payments, manage accounts receivable, and ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices.
  • Reconciliation:

    Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial records.
  • Tax Preparation:

    Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:

    Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
  • Audit Support:

    Assist with internal and external audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
  • Compliance:

    Ensure all accounting processes comply with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Process Improvement:

    Identify opportunities for process improvements to streamline accounting operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software Tally ERP and MS Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Tally ERP certification is a plus.
  • Experience in accounting.
  • Knowledge of local tax laws and financial regulations.

Working Conditions:
