Job Description

The Financialist is seeking an individual who swears by Stay Hungry Stay Foolish and comes up with innovative solutions. Youll be part of the accounts team and will work with founding team members on building the company.

We deliver comprehensive financial planning services aimed at enhancing clients financial planning needs. Our team comprises Chartered Accountants, Chartered Financial Analysts, and Investment Bankers who are committed to providing unbiased financial advice. We adhere to a strict "No Commission, No Brokerage" policy, ensuring that our recommendations prioritize clients best interests. Our subscription model is designed to align with clients income levels, making our services accessible to a broad audience.

Role Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage our financial records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in bookkeeping, vendor management, reconciliations, invoicing, tax compliance, and financial reporting.

Roles Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records; record all transactions in accounting software (Razorpayx / Zohobooks / Tally)

Vendor Payments Management: Process and track all vendor payments; maintain relationships and ensure timely settlements.

Reconciliation Recovery Management: Reconcile bank statements, client accounts, and internal records; follow up on outstanding dues and manage recovery processes.

Client Invoicing: Generate, track, and manage invoices for all clients; coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely billing.

Tax Compliance Support: Assist with TDS, GST, and other statutory compliance; coordinate with external CA/consultants where needed.

Reporting: Provide periodic MIS reports and updates on receivables, payables, and cash flow. Process Improvement: Identify gaps in current accounting processes and propose improvements for efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications Requirements:

Academic background:

Work Experience:

Ideal for candidates with early-career experience (up to 2 years) in accounting.

Good to have experience in a similar accounting role.

Proficiency in accounting software (RazorpayX, Zoho Books, Tally).

Good to have experience in Tax Filing GST.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliances.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to operate in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.

Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable in an ever-changing environment.

Excellent interpersonal skills.
