Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Accounting & Financial Operations

Direct day-to-day accounting including journal entries, reconciliations, and payables/receivables.
Ensure accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closures in line with Ind AS.
Supervise ledger maintenance and ensure statutory compliance in accounting practices.

2. Statutory Compliance

Drive timely and accurate GST, TDS, and income tax filings.
Maintain compliance documentation; liaise with consultants for tax advisory matters.
Conduct periodic internal compliance checks and risk assessments.

3. Financial Reporting & MIS

Prepare and present MIS, P&L, and financial statements for management.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Provide financial insights to enable data-driven decision-making.

4. Audit Management

Manage internal and external audits seamlessly.
Prepare audit schedules, address queries, and ensure timely report closure.

5. Team Leadership

Lead a team of 25 accountants; assign tasks, review deliverables, and mentor staff.
Build team capability and instill best practices for efficiency and accuracy.

6. Process Improvement & Controls

Identify and address process gaps; implement robust internal controls.
Champion automation initiatives to improve accuracy and turnaround time.
