Job Description

A renowned Canada based E-commerce service company is looking for Account Assistant candidates.

Job Role - Account Assistant

Job Timing - 3 PM- 1 AM

5 days a week, 2 week offs

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in day-to-day financial transactions, including data entry, accounts payable and receivable
Maintain and reconcile general ledger and bank statements
Process invoices, credit notes, refunds, and expense claims
Monitor customer accounts for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities
Prepare and maintain financial records and reports
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Liaise with internal teams (e.g., customer service, warehouse) and external vendors
Assist with tax filings, audits, and compliance-related activities
Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial data
Help implement and maintain financial procedures and controls

Requirements:

Bachelor's / masters degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
12 years of experience in a similar role (eCommerce industry a plus)
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Tally, etc.) and MS Excel
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
