We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to manage day-to-day accounting operations. The role involves preparing tax invoices, maintaining balance sheets, handling cash flow, filing returns, ensuring compliance with Income Tax Laws, managing labour charges, and updating records on government portals with strong proficiency in MS Excel. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: • Prepare, verify, and maintain tax invoices and vouchers. • Assist in preparation of balance sheet, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements. • Manage Income Tax, GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance including timely return filing. • Handle labour charges accounting, compliance, and related return filings. • Upload and maintain records on government portals (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Income Tax). • Prepare MIS reports and assist during audit and assessment. • Maintain accurate accounting entries for sales, purchases, receipts, and payments. • Ensure proper documentation and filing of bills, vouchers, and statutory records. • Manage cash flow and fund monitoring. • Support in vendor reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and client queries. • Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to compliance timelines. ________________________________________ Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance or equivalent. • 1–3 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance. • Good knowledge of Income Tax Laws, GST, TDS, Labour Charges, and Return Filing. • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (Formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.). • Familiarity with Tally ERP / Accounting software. • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. • Good communication and organizational skills.
