2D Artist

As a mid-level 2D Game Artist with 3 to 8 years of experience, you will be instrumental in defining the visual identity of our games. Your primary responsibilities will include crafting high-quality 2D game art, designing intuitive UI layouts, wireframing game screens, and creating concept art that encapsulates the essence of gameplay experiences. Your key duties will involve designing various 2D assets like characters, environments, props, icons, and effects in line with the game's artistic vision. You will also be tasked with developing visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces, encompassing menus, HUDs, buttons, and other UI elements. Additionally, you will create detailed wireframes and mockups for game screens and flows to support game design and development efforts. Collaboration will be a key aspect of your role as you will work closely with game designers, developers, and fellow artists to ensure artistic consistency and alignment with gameplay requirements. Participating in design reviews, incorporating feedback, and upholding high visual standards will be crucial in your day-to-day activities. Furthermore, optimizing assets for performance and maintaining art documentation will be essential tasks to streamline production processes. To thrive in this role, you should possess 3 to 8 years of experience in 2D game art, preferably within a game development studio. Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma is essential, along with a solid grasp of UI/UX principles specific to games.
