As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer at the Sutherland Hospital campus in Sydney, you will play a crucial role in providing educational leadership and clinical teaching. The St George and Sutherland Clinical Campuses, closely affiliated with hospitals and UNSW conjoints, aim to enhance clinical care and research contributions. Your responsibilities will include driving educational excellence within the university's teaching and learning communities, particularly in the Critical Care field. To excel in this role, you should hold a Higher Degree in an educational discipline, possess a medical qualification registerable in NSW with specialist training, and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development. Your experience in teaching and learning design, curriculum development, and use of educational technologies will be essential. You will be expected to lead curriculum development initiatives, interact with industry professionals, and secure funding for learning and teaching projects. At Level B, you will focus on undergraduate and postgraduate education, while Level C requires expertise and academic leadership within medicine, surgery, or emergency/critical care. You should be dedicated to advancing an inclusive culture of learning and teaching excellence, with a proven track record in curriculum improvement and industry engagement.
