WordPress / Shopify Developer

We are looking for a talented and versatile WordPress & Shopify Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience designing, developing, and managing websites on both WordPress and Shopify platforms. You’ll work closely with our design, marketing, and content teams to build high-performing, responsive, and user-friendly e-commerce and corporate websites.

Key Responsibilities:

WordPress Responsibilities:

• Manage WordPress CMS for content updates and custom features.
• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and responsiveness.
• Ensure cross-browser and mobile compatibility.

Shopify Responsibilities:

• Customize Shopify themes and create new ones based on Figma/Adobe XD designs.
• Develop custom functionality using Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Set up and manage Shopify apps, third-party integrations, and payment gateways.

General Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and debug website and e-commerce issues.
• Work with UI/UX designers to translate designs into functional web experiences.
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams for ongoing updates.
• Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of web platforms.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in WordPress and Shopify development.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Liquid.
• Experience with page builders (Elementor, Gutenberg) and Shopify theme customization.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• Strong understanding of SEO, website speed optimization, and responsive design.
• Proficiency in version control systems like Git.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with WooCommerce and Shopify Plus.
• Knowledge of Google Analytics, GA4, Tag Manager, and marketing integrations.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Understanding of accessibility and WCAG compliance.
