With a minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Vertica DBA and 2+ years as a MYSQL DBA, you will implement data security measures to protect sensitive information stored in the databases. You will need to have a solid understanding of Vertica concepts, experience with the latest versions, and be adept at performance tuning. Monitoring the system's health and performance, ensuring high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security are also key responsibilities. You will analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in real-time, providing suggestions for solutions and refining and automating regular processes. Furthermore, you will be expected to offer 24x7 support for critical production systems, perform scheduled maintenance, and support release deployment activities after hours. Troubleshooting database issues, performing root cause analysis, and possessing strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively. The job type is temporary with a contract length of 24 months. The work schedule includes Monday to Friday with rotational shifts.
