TV9 - Digital Technology Expert

As a digital technology expert, you will be responsible for overseeing all web and mobile platforms, infrastructure, and product development for our digital properties. Your deep experience in the media industry, cloud technologies, and managing high-performance digital teams will be essential for this role. Your key responsibilities will include leading digital platforms such as websites, mobile apps, and video infrastructure. You will manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) to ensure high availability and performance. Additionally, you will oversee development teams and cross-functional workflows related to CMS, SEO, and UI/UX. Your role will involve driving automation, real-time content delivery, and data-driven strategies to enhance our digital properties. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 10 years of experience in digital/IT leadership roles within the media or tech industry. Your expertise should include hands-on experience in cloud technologies (specifically AWS), CMS, caching (CloudFront/Varnish/Redis), and APIs. Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as PHP, ASP, .NET, JavaScript, and SQL is required. You should have an in-depth understanding of CMS platforms like WordPress and custom systems, as well as familiarity with web servers like Apache and Nginx. Experience with search technologies such as Solr and Elasticsearch, analytics, and broadcast-digital integration will be beneficial. Strong team and project management skills are essential for this role, as well as prior experience in managing multilingual, high-traffic digital platforms.
