Tour Consultant

Job description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Tour Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist clients in planning and organizing their travel itineraries, domestic and international ensuring an exceptional and seamless travel experience from start to finish. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for travel and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand clients' travel needs and preferences to design customized tour packages.
• Provide detailed information on destinations, travel conditions, prices, and itineraries.
• Book transportation, accommodations, excursions, and other travel services.
• Respond to client inquiries, offer travel advice, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Stay updated with travel trends, visa regulations, safety protocols, and destination news.
• Build strong relationships with travel partners, suppliers, and clients.
• Promote travel products and services through various channels.
• Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and customer interactions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a travel agent or tour consultant preferred.
• Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency in reservation systems and travel booking software.
• Customer-focused with a problem-solving attitude.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree or certification in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, or related fields.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and online booking platforms.
