Title SAP ABAP Specialist

You should have a minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience in a consulting environment. You must have a successful track record of implementing brownfield migration, with at least 2 end-to-end ECC to S4 HANA migrations. It is essential to define the scope for migration, analyze, migrate, and adapt the code to SAP S/4 HANA. As a highly skilled professional with over 5 years of experience in client-facing roles, you should possess strong technical, analytical, and complex system integration skills. Confidence and in-depth expertise in providing elegant solutions to improve organizational quality and efficiency are crucial. You must be well-versed in all aspects of SAP's technology stack. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is key to success in this role. You will be responsible for managing and reviewing data conversion rules and data quality rules, applying them during migration. Designing and documenting the data migration approach, as well as mentoring the team to follow best practices driven by SAP, are part of your responsibilities. Working closely with the cutover team to plan data loads and cleansing is essential. Your experience in using tools like ATC Checks and Code Inspector to identify issues in custom code and migrating it to S/4 HANA compatible is critical. You should also have a strong background in all RICEF objects. Your technical skills should include strong programming abilities in ABAP/OO ABAP, oDATA, as well as a minimum of 2 years of development experience in S/4 HANA. Additionally, you should have at least 3 years of experience in OO ABAP in a complex landscape. Knowledge and working experience in AMDP, CDS, BRF+, and HANA proxy objects are required. You should be proficient in building ABAP CDS objects (Core Data Services) and have experience with the ABAP Development Tool Kit using HANA Studio and Eclipse. Exposure to open and native SQL performance rules with best practices for optimizing S/4 HANA code is necessary. Experience in creating and debugging SAP HANA models and stored procedures is also expected. Furthermore, you should have experience in consuming SAP HANA models using Native SQL and ADBC. Good experience in fuzzy search and its usage, as well as familiarity with new programming models and the latest development techniques, are advantageous. Working closely with functional consultants to gather requirements and leading/guiding the team are also part of the role.
