Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Lead daily workshop operations including diagnostics, repair, and refurbishment
Ensure vehicles are serviced/refurbished within defined TAT (Turnaround Time) and cost targets
Assign tasks and monitor performance of technicians and support staff
Coordinate with the sourcing, quality, and delivery teams to ensure smooth vehicle flow
Conduct regular quality checks and ensure adherence to company standards
Analyze service data and drive continuous improvements in productivity and efficiency
Resolve operational bottlenecks and escalate technical issues when needed
Monitor spare parts usage and ensure optimal inventory levels
Implement safety and compliance practices across the workshop
Coach and upskill the technical team for consistent performance

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelors degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering
46 years of experience in vehicle service/workshop management, preferably in used car or multi-brand setup
Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics
Proven team leadership and people management skills
Data-driven mindset with good command of workshop MIS/reporting tools
Experience with reconditioning/refurbishment workflows is a plus
Knowledge of lean practices, quality control, and vendor coordination
Tech-savvy and comfortable with digital platforms and dashboards
