Job Description

As an Executive - Talent Acquisition at Malabar Gold & Diamonds, your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with the Head of Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to implement recruitment strategies. You will be required to utilize both passive and active recruiting methods, tapping into various sources to build a strong candidate pipeline for critical roles. Understanding the manpower needs of the organization is crucial, as you will be responsible for posting job openings on internal and external portals. It will be your duty to ensure that all recruitment-related documents such as CVs and offer letters are meticulously organized and comply with the established standards. Screening and evaluating both external and internal applicants to match their qualifications with the job requirements will be a key aspect of your role. You will conduct recruitment activities including screening, interviewing, and facilitating the hiring process to meet the business demands efficiently. Maintaining timely communication with candidates regarding interview feedback and ensuring proper background verification of new hires are essential tasks. Issuing offer/rejection letters, negotiating with candidates, and acting as a liaison between the business and potential hires are also part of your responsibilities. Collaborating with other Functional Heads and the Corporate Talent Acquisition team to optimize the recruitment process and fill vacant positions by leveraging internal and external talent will be expected. Updating the Recruitment Management Information System (MIS) regularly and providing well-documented recruiting reports to the team are integral to your role. Staying informed about the latest trends and best practices in recruitment and suggesting improvements will be encouraged. Developing and nurturing professional relationships with local, regional, and international recruitment agencies to attract and select high-caliber professionals is also a key component of your job. In terms of internal processes, adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in your section is mandatory. Generating regular and ad-hoc reports within specified time frames will be required to ensure smooth operations. This role is based in Mumbai, Andheri, Maharashtra, India, and requires candidates with an MBA qualification, aged below 35, and possessing 3 to 4 years of relevant experience. The salary range offered is as per industry standards (INR).,
