Job Summary:

The Textile Showroom Supervisor oversees the daily operations of a textile showroom, ensuring a smooth customer experience, maintaining product displays, managing showroom staff, and meeting sales targets. This role is key to maintaining a professional environment, showcasing fabric collections effectively, and maximizing customer satisfaction and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

Showroom Operations & Supervision:

  • Supervise daily showroom activities including staff scheduling, cleanliness, and customer service.
  • Ensure all textiles are properly labeled, displayed, and organized.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the stock or warehouse team for replenishment.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, train, and motivate showroom staff (sales associates, assistants).
  • Assign daily duties, monitor performance, and provide guidance and support.
  • Conduct briefings on new arrivals, promotions, and showroom targets.

Customer Service & Sales:

  • Assist customers with fabric selection, measurements, pricing, and product details.
  • Ensure a professional, helpful, and friendly customer experience.
  • Handle escalated customer complaints or special requests efficiently.

Sales & Revenue Generation:

  • Meet individual and team sales targets through active engagement and upselling.
  • Track daily sales, prepare reports, and report to upper management.
  • Support marketing initiatives such as promotions or seasonal offers in the showroom.

Visual Merchandising:

  • Ensure the showroom maintains a high visual standard in line with brand guidelines.
  • Create attractive and thematic displays to showcase new or high-value textiles.
  • Coordinate with marketing for seasonal or promotional displays.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in textile retail/showroom operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of different types of fabrics, textures, and textile applications (apparel, home, industrial).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Daily/Monthly sales targets achieved
  • Customer satisfaction rating
  • Inventory accuracy and display quality
  • Team productivity and attendance
  • Showroom cleanliness and organization

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
