Job Description

A. Administration & Monitoring
Daily management of SAN & storage environments.Collaborate with customer storage support teams.Participate in troubleshooting tasks and workflow enhancements.Manage storage operations and systems-level maintenance.Track storage usage trends and plan capacity.Maintain documentation, reporting, and procedures.Perform storage allocations to server infrastructure.B. Infrastructure Event ManagementCapacity management and trend analysis.Monitor SAN switch and storage subsystem capacity.Analyze performance and support future growth planning.C. Problem Resolution & RCAConduct preliminary diagnostics and documentation.Coordinate with Hitachi Global Support for incident management.Maintain compliance with change management policies.D. Maintenance & ImplementationPerform routine storage maintenance per Hitachi standards.Manage the implementation of additional storage infrastructure and services.E. MentorshipTrain and mentor junior administrators.F. Solution DesignOversee installation, configuration, and de-provisioning of storage solutions.G. Performance ManagementTune and analyze capacity; recommend remediation strategies.H. Disaster Recovery & ContinuityDevelop and maintain DR procedures and documentation.Manage data movement, replication, and DR testing.Skill Requirements5+ years of hands-on experience with SAN & NAS storage infrastructure.Expertise with Hitachi Storage systems and Brocade Switches.Exposure to Unified Compute Platforms and OS-level operations (including basic cluster management).Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
