SST Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Science Teacher to join our academic team and educate students in classes 6 to 10. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge across History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics, and the ability to engage students through innovative and interactive teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the school CBSE & ICSE curriculum and academic standards.
• Teach Social Science subjects (History, Geography, Civics, and Economics) for grades 6 to 10.
• Develop lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments aligned with curriculum guidelines.
• Use a variety of instructional techniques to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
• Encourage student participation and foster a classroom environment that promotes inquiry, critical thinking, and discussion.
• Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Maintain records of student progress and performance.
• Collaborate with other teachers and participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
• Integrate technology and digital tools effectively into teaching practices.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in History, Geography, Political Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in middle or secondary school.
• Proficiency in English (both spoken and written).
• Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with CBSE/ICSE/State curriculum (customize as per your school board).
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using digital teaching tools and smartboards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹350.00 - ₹900.00 per hour
