You demonstrate exceptional functional testing abilities, with a strong focus on identifying and addressing edge cases. Ensuring comprehensive test coverage to maintain high-quality standards and prevent potential issues is a key aspect of your role. You are responsible for writing detailed test cases to thoroughly evaluate software functionality and meticulously documenting defects, tracking them through to resolution. Active participation in grooming and planning sessions is expected from you, providing estimates for test activities. Developing and maintaining test plans to guide the testing process is also part of your responsibilities. Taking ownership of releases, ensuring all functional testing requirements are met, is crucial. You should have a good understanding of JIRA and XRAY or similar test management tools. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in automation testing is required, including writing test automation scripts for web applications and web services. You must be capable of actively contributing to the existing automation framework and building a new framework from scratch. Hands-on experience in JavaScript is essential, along with a strong understanding of Selenium or other automation tools and testing frameworks like Xunit. Having a solid understanding of API testing and automation, as well as familiarity with Postman automation, is advantageous. Prior experience in testing conversational chatbot applications is a must. Experience working within Agile software development methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban, is preferred, with the ability to meet required quality deliverables and adhere to deadlines. As a member of the QA community, you must possess a strong testing mindset with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring thorough validation of software functionality and identifying potential issues early in the development process. Good understanding of object-oriented design principles and best practices of automation scripting is necessary. Proactively providing inputs during grooming sessions based on design/implementation options and staying up to date on the latest technology developments are expected. You should be willing to learn and share your learnings with the community, as well as mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their growth and development. Previous work experience in the finance domain is considered a plus.,
