OVERVIEW :
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated DBA to join our IT team. The DBA will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the database infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of database systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Design, implement, and maintain database infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking.
Plan and execute database server upgrades and patches.
Manage database storage, including capacity planning and allocation.

Implement and maintain database security policies and procedures.
Monitor database security logs and alerts.
Develop and maintain database backup and recovery procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong understanding of database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Experience with database server operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows).
Knowledge of database storage technologies (e.g., SAN, NAS).
Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
Strong understanding of database security principles and practices.
Experience with database backup and recovery procedures.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
