You will be joining a dynamic team at MyRemoteTeam, Inc, a leading distributed workforce enabler dedicated to assisting companies in expanding their operations with top-notch global talent. Our mission is to support businesses by offering exceptional software engineers, operational support, and infrastructure solutions to enhance their growth and efficiency. As a Java AWS Developer with at least 6 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in creating scalable microservices utilizing Java, Spring Boot, Spring JPA, and AWS cloud services. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of developing, deploying, and optimizing cloud-native Java applications while adhering to industry best practices in microservices architecture, CI/CD, and DevOps automation. Your responsibilities will include backend development tasks such as designing, building, and managing high-performance microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring JPA. You will also be responsible for implementing RESTful APIs, event-driven architecture, and database integrations, focusing on optimizing applications for scalability, security, and fault tolerance. In addition, you will be involved in AWS cloud integration activities, including deploying and overseeing applications on AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, ECS/EKS, RDS, SQS, SNS, and API Gateway. You will work on implementing serverless architectures with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and EventBridge, as well as configuring AWS services for security, monitoring, and cost optimization. Your role will also encompass microservices and DevOps responsibilities, such as containerizing applications using Docker, orchestrating with Kubernetes (EKS), setting up CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK/Terraform. Furthermore, you will be involved in testing and performance tasks, including writing unit/integration tests, end-to-end tests, and monitoring production issues using tools like AWS CloudWatch, X-Ray, and ELK stack. Collaboration and Agile practices are essential in this role, as you will work in Agile/Scrum teams, participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, while also mentoring junior developers and promoting clean code, SOLID principles, and design patterns.,
