Social Media Intern

Role Description:

As a Social Media Intern at I-PAC, you’ll contribute to the digital communication strategies of large-scale political campaigns & building I-PAC's Brand identity across platforms. The role involves content ideation and social media management aimed at amplifying the campaign's reach and narrative.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, create, and schedule engaging social media content (text, image, video, reels) aligned with campaign objectives and messaging guidelines.
• Monitor and analyze public sentiment and online conversations around political narratives, governance issues, and campaign-related topics.
• Support in content creation and publishing during high-visibility political events, announcements, or public interactions.
• Research and propose new digital trends, tools, and platforms that can enhance citizen engagement and political outreach..
• Ensure all social media content adheres to organizational guidelines, maintains brand voice, and aligns with political sensitivities and legal standards.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Public Policy, Media, Political Science, or related fields.
• Strong interest in political consulting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics tools.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of design tools (Canva, etc.) is a plus.
• Willingness to work from office in Hyderabad for the internship duration.
