Site Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Civil Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day execution of on-site civil construction activities. The ideal candidate will assist the Senior Site Engineer in supervising civil works related to township development, villas, clubhouses, and commercial buildings. This is a full-time, site-based role that requires strong field knowledge and hands-on experience in residential and commercial construction.

Key ResponsibilitiesOn-Site Supervision

• Ensure full-time presence on-site during work hours.
• Supervise civil construction work, including excavation, concreting, shuttering, masonry, plastering, and finishing tasks.
• Monitor the execution of work as per architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and the engineer's instructions.

Workforce and Material Management

• Oversee labor deployment and work allocation as per the site plan.
• Coordinate with labor contractors, masons, carpenters, and other skilled/unskilled workers.
• Check material usage and report any wastage or shortages.
• Coordinate with the store in-charge for timely material availability.

Progress Monitoring & Reporting

• Track day-to-day work progress and ensure timely task completion.
• Maintain daily work records and checklists.
• Report work status, site issues, and progress to the Senior Site Engineer on a daily basis.

Quality Control & Safety

• Ensure quality of construction work as per the required standards.
• Assist in inspection and rectification of defects during execution.
• Maintain cleanliness and enforce safety measures on the site.
• Report unsafe practices or potential hazards immediately.

Technical Support

• Assist in layout marking, concreting supervision, bar bending, formwork, masonry, waterproofing, and other structural and finishing works.
• Ensure measurements and levels are maintained accurately during construction stages.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of on-site experience in civil construction supervision.
• Strong knowledge of residential and commercial construction practices.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Good coordination and communication skills to manage labor and report to the engineering team.
• Familiarity with basic site documentation and reporting.
• Physically fit and willing to work in a full-time field role under varying site conditions.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
