Job Description

Role Overview:

SEO Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the SEO team to deliver high-performing organic search strategies.
Plan, implement, and monitor SEO strategies for both on-page and off-page optimization.
Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitive analysis.
Audit websites for SEO improvements (technical, content, and link-building).
Collaborate with content, design, and tech teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated.
Monitor SEO performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, etc.
Generate and present monthly performance reports and growth insights.
Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
Set team goals, assign tasks, and ensure timely project delivery.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of Google algorithms, SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.)
Expertise in technical SEO, keyword analysis, content optimization & backlinking
Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage a small SEO team
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, CMS platforms (especially WordPress)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Knowledge of local SEO, schema markup, and Core Web Vitals is a plus

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, Communications, or a related field
3–5 years of experience in SEO; minimum 2 year in a team lead/managerial role
Proven success in improving keyword rankings and increasing organic traffic
