Requirements for the Role

• 3+ years of industry experience where you have worked with eCommerce websites, blogs, and product catalogue sites.
• How to use different SEO tools like GSC, GA4, AHREFs, SEMRush, and other tools and apps.
• You know how you use WordPress CMS through and through.
• Know how SEO, SEM, structured data, search engine crawling, indexing, and rankings work.
• You know how code affects search engine rankings and performance, and can work with developers to help write better and cleaner code that improves page load times.
• Ability to think on your own, come up with ideas and solutions, execute what was discussed, be proactive, and problem solver.
• Both written and verbal communication skills are good.
• You know what is happening in the world of SEO and are always in the know of the latest trends, news, and discussions around it.
• You know and understand how AI works, how it is impacting and shaping the written content industry, and use it to automate certain tasks.

Responsibilities for the Role

• Conduct on-page SEO audits using different available tools regularly to understand what is working and what is not.
• Optimize product and article pages on various SEO metrics.
• Check if the article and product pages have schema-structured data.
• Internal links, breadcrumbs, categories, tags, redirects, robots.txt file, pagination, menu, etc., are in order and optimized.
• Product and article pages have optimized images for search engine image search.
• Improve the Core Web Vitals (desktop and mobile) of both article and product pages.
• Use different tools like GA4, GSC, AHREFs, etc., to monitor and track performance and share insights. Do the same for other sites so we know what the competition is doing, how they are doing it, whether it is working for them, and if yes, how it can work for us.
