Senior Storage Administrator

We are currently seeking a dedicated Storage Engineer to be a part of our Managed Services operations team catering to our Banking customers. As a Storage Engineer, your primary responsibility will involve providing Level 2 support to customers through prompt incident response, service request fulfillment, problem management, infrastructure enhancements, and executing NetApp Ontap upgrades. It is crucial to have experience in supporting diverse client bases and possess a profound understanding of NetApp storage technologies. The ideal candidate for this role should meet the following requirements: - Proficiency in NetApp Storage, including deployment and administration of NetApp Storage CDOT. - Ability to troubleshoot performance issues, manage firmware and operating system upgrades, utilize storage management tools such as OnCommand Unified Manager/ Performance Manager/ Insight, and integrate backups with NetApp technologies. - Sound understanding of NetApp Storage concepts, management tools, and related technologies like Snapshots, controller failover, provisioning, deduplication, cloning, Snapmirror, IntelliSnap, encompassing monitoring, troubleshooting, administration, replication technologies, security hardening, and performance tuning. - Familiarity with other NetApp storage technologies like StorageGRID, E-Series, and SolidFire would be advantageous. - Experience with automation tools like NetApp Workflow Automation and Ansible. - Strong grasp of Storage protocols and technologies such as CIFS, NFS, iSCSI, Fiber Channel switching, and networks. - Knowledge of ITIL methodologies including change, incident, problem, and configuration management. - Expertise in Brocade or Cisco SAN switches administration, troubleshooting SAN connectivity, SAN zoning, FC, and IP-based storage replications. - Proficient in Windows and Linux System Administration. - Excellent customer communication and documentation skills. - Ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. - Positive, proactive, team-oriented approach with adaptability and innovation in work methodologies. Education: - A graduate degree, preferably in engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant Storage experience. - NetApp Certification would be a valuable asset.
