Role Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer specializing in backend systems who has extensive experience operating at hyperscale (100M+ queries/day). You will build, optimize, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure backend services powering our AI-driven protection systems. What You'll Do: Design, develop, and scale backend services capable of handling millions of concurrent requests daily. Implement robust APIs, database architectures, caching layers, and microservices to ensure high availability and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Data Science, Product) to define architecture, ensure scalability, and optimize system performance. Identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot performance issues, and implement solutions for optimization. Contribute to best practices and mentor junior engineers in developing scalable, maintainable code. What We Expect: Proven experience developing backend systems at hyperscale, specifically handling at least 100M queries/day. Strong expertise in Node.js, Python, Go, or Java. Deep knowledge of distributed systems, microservices architectures, load balancing, caching strategies (e.g., Redis, Memcached), and database optimization. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
