Senior Data & AI/ML Engineer - Walk-In Drive 14th June - Chennai

Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Data & AI/ML Engineer (Lead) with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and hands-on experience in building, deploying, and managing machine learning solutions at scale. The ideal candidate will lead AI/ML initiatives, mentor a team of engineers, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive data-driven innovation and business value. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of scalable AI/ML models and data pipelines on GCP. Drive architecture and design discussions for AI/ML solutions across cloud-native environments. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver intelligent solutions. Manage and optimize data pipelines using tools such as Dataflow, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Functions , etc. Deploy ML models using Vertex AI , AI Platform , or custom CI/CD pipelines. Monitor model performance and manage model retraining, versioning, and lifecycle. Ensure best practices in data governance, security, and compliance. Mentor junior engineers and data scientists; provide leadership in code reviews and project planning. Required Skills: 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Machine Learning, or AI application development. Strong programming skills in Python (preferred) and/or Java/Scala . Hands-on experience with GCP services : BigQuery, Vertex AI, Cloud Functions, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, GCS, etc. Proficient in ML libraries/frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn . Deep understanding of data modeling, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques. Experience with Docker , Kubernetes , and ML Ops tools. Strong background in SQL and data warehousing concepts. Exposure to data security and compliance best practices (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.). Nice to Have: GCP Certification (e.g., Professional Machine Learning Engineer , Data Engineer ) Experience with streaming data architectures . Familiarity with AI ethics , explainability , and bias mitigation techniques . Education: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
