Job Summary:

The School Principal is the instructional and administrative leader responsible for managing all facets of the school’s operations. This includes promoting high academic standards, ensuring student safety and well-being, fostering a positive school culture, managing faculty and staff, overseeing budgets, and ensuring compliance with district, state, and federal policies.

Key Responsibilities:Leadership & School Management

  • Provide visionary leadership to promote a culture of academic excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Set and enforce high standards for student achievement and behavior.
  • Develop and implement strategic school improvement plans in collaboration with staff and stakeholders.

Instructional Oversight

  • Evaluate and support teachers through regular observations and professional development.
  • Implement evidence-based instructional practices and curriculum standards.
  • Analyze data to guide instructional decisions and improve student outcomes.

Staff Supervision & Development

  • Hire, supervise, and evaluate faculty and support staff.
  • Create and lead professional development programs.
  • Foster a collaborative and respectful work environment.

Student Affairs

  • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students.
  • Monitor student discipline and attendance policies.
  • Promote extracurricular and co-curricular activities.

Parent & Community Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with parents, community leaders, and local organizations.
  • Communicate school goals and student progress clearly and regularly.
  • Serve as the face of the school in public and community events.

Operations & Compliance

  • Develop and manage the school budget in alignment with district policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and district guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports required by the district and government agencies.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Education or related field.
  • Valid principal or administrative license
  • Minimum of 10 years of successful teaching experience
  • Prior experience in school leadership or administration required.
