As an integral part of the River team, you will play a crucial role in the logistics and transportation operations of our electric vehicle company. Your responsibilities will include preparing and assisting in monthly dispatch plans and vehicle placement strategies in alignment with finished goods/cargo readiness and sales objectives. It will be your duty to continuously monitor the readiness of finished goods and cargo to ensure the timely initiation of vehicle placement. Ensuring the safe transportation of our products will be of utmost importance, and you will be responsible for implementing safe transportation methods and overseeing deliveries to guarantee they are made in a secure and reliable condition. Monitoring the safe loading and proper lashing of finished goods on trucks will be part of your routine tasks, as well as ensuring that the vehicle crew adheres to best practices. Your role will also require you to possess skills in tracking and tracing shipments, providing real-time updates to superiors, and regularly monitoring the transit status with the crew to promptly resolve any transit-related issues. A good understanding of domestic dispatch documents such as tax invoices, e-invoices, delivery challans, E-way bills, and LR will be essential. Additionally, knowledge of export documentation and processes will be advantageous. Your experience in working with logistics providers and freight forwarders to ensure the smooth execution of shipments will be highly valued. Proficiency in SAP MM/SD related to logistics will be beneficial for effectively managing logistics operations. The ideal candidate for this role would hold a degree in BE/Diploma/BCom/BSc with 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
