Safety Supervisor

As a Safety Supervisor at Srian Infrastructures Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of all projects, properties, and associated operations at the site. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing safety protocols, conducting training sessions, monitoring compliance with safety regulations, and addressing any hazards to ensure the well-being of employees, contractors, and visitors. You will be required to advise and instruct on various safety-related topics, conduct risk assessments, review existing policies and update them according to legislation, organize OHS training for employees and executives, inspect premises to identify issues or non-conformities, and monitor day-to-day site activities to ensure full compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting routine safety audits and risk assessments at project sites, preparing Emergency Preparedness Plans, implementing and enforcing PPE standards, investigating and reporting accidents or incidents, providing on-site safety training, and maintaining records of safety checks, incidents, training, and inspections. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience as a safety officer, hold a degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Civil Engineering, or a related field, and possess certifications in Safety Management such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent. Strong knowledge of local labor laws, BIS safety codes, and construction safety standards is essential, along with excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. You should also be diligent with great attention to detail, have the ability to lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and incident reviews, and be knowledgeable about potentially hazardous materials or practices. The position offers a competitive salary in the range of 20,000-25,000 per month along with benefits such as cell phone reimbursement and Provident Fund. This is a full-time role based in Hyderabad, Telangana, with a day shift schedule. Reliability in commuting or planning to relocate before starting work is required.
