The ideal candidate for this role should have experience in switchyards. It is mandatory for the candidate to be able to join within 0-15 days. You will be responsible for ensuring that field quality inspections at the site are conducted by a Third-Party Inspector (TPI) on a daily basis against the activities executed by the project. You will inspect the quality of materials and equipment received/used in the construction as per Field Quality Plan (FQP) and raise complaints if any defects are found. It is crucial to ensure that construction is carried out according to appropriate quality standards, highlighting any deviations from approved drawings and documents. Your responsibilities will also include preparing daily site Quality monitoring reports, conducting quality review meetings with the contractor, monitoring tests carried out at the site, coordinating plant testing activities, and addressing technical issues as they arise. Additionally, you will conduct on-the-job trainings and Quality Task Box Talks (QTBT) at the site on construction activities. You will be required to maintain site reports, test certificates, and revised drawings for inspecting work activities. Furthermore, you will check the quality of incoming materials physically at the site, verify compliances, ensure all approved documents are available, and verify all Requests for Information (RFIs) raised by the site team/contractor. Experience in MCR & SGR building work, switchyard work, road & drain work, and TL - 110kV & 220kV is essential for this role. You will monitor the batching plant, quality assurance of supplied concrete, and tests performed on incoming materials and concrete in the in-house lab. Calibration of testing equipment, establishment of a Civil Lab at the site, and coordination with the site in-charge for civil material testing are also part of your responsibilities. You will be responsible for inspecting mechanical activities at the site, discussing deviated technical points with the project team, and highlighting concerns that may affect the structure's integrity. Verifying contractor compliance documents, raising warning mails for quality penalties, and collecting photos of practices/lessons learnt are also key tasks. This is a full-time position that requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years of experience in Third-Party Inspection. It is crucial to inspect mechanical activities, discuss and resolve technical points with the project team, and ensure compliance with quality standards. The TPI will be responsible for raising warning mails for quality penalties, collecting photos of good practices and lessons learned, and submitting them as part of the Handing Over and Take Over (HOTO) process. You must have a Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience in Third Party Inspection. This is a full-time position with benefits including Provident Fund.
