The selected candidate is expected to carry out the following activities: Structure Design including Hull, Foundation, and Outfitting. Conduct design calculations in compliance with standards such as IACS, DNV, API, AISC, EuroCode, etc. Prepare structural drawings and perform FE Analysis using software like ANSYS, SACS, SESAM, NASTRAN, FEMAP. Undertake hand calculations to enhance analysis, generate code checks, and assess structural behaviors. Collaborate with surveyors and third-party consultants. Review outsourced engineering studies, reports, and procedures. Possess knowledge of shipbuilding and repair practices. Provide onsite support for installation and fabrication. The responsibilities also extend to Team Management: Enhance team capabilities through regular training and support in recruitment processes. Demonstrate experience in managing clients. Serve as a technical lead on projects to ensure quality delivery. Coordinate with the Central organization to prioritize workloads and allocate tasks to the local team. Guide graduate engineers in structural analysis. Qualification: BE / B.Tech in Mechanical or Naval Architecture from a reputed institute with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience. Desired profile of the candidate: Preference for candidates with experience in shipyards or design offices of consulting engineering companies. Proficiency in structure, outfitting, equipment layout, and strength calculation. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Highly self-motivated, ambitious, and effective team player.
