Quantity Surveyor

A quantity surveyor (QS) is a construction industry professional who manages all costs related to construction projects, from initial estimates to final completion. They ensure projects stay within budget while meeting quality standards. Key responsibilities include cost estimation, contract management, procurement, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Preparing detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQ).
• Tendering and Procurement: Evaluating bids, managing contracts, and procuring materials and services.
• Contract Administration: Managing contracts, handling variations, and processing payments.
• Cost Control and Monitoring: Tracking expenses, analyzing costs, and identifying potential cost overruns.
• Risk Management: Assessing and mitigating financial risks associated with the project.
• Value Engineering: Identifying opportunities to optimize costs without compromising quality.
• Financial Reporting: Preparing financial reports and providing cost advice to project teams.
• Liaising with Stakeholders: Communicating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project.
• Ensuring Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and contractual obligations.
• Project Planning and Scheduling: Contributing to project planning and scheduling to ensure timely completion.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
