What You’ll Be Doing:

Responsibilities

Develop, document, and execute test plans and test cases for software applications.Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software functionality, reliability, and performance. Collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements and identify potential quality issues.Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution. Create and maintain automated test scripts to improve test coverage and efficiency.Conduct regression testing to ensure new code does not adversely impact existing functionality. Analyze test results, generate quality metrics, and report on software quality status to stakeholders. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and project planning sessions to ensure quality is embedded in all phases.Continuously research and implement new testing tools, methodologies, and best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.Proficiency in software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing.Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Karate, Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG) and frameworks.Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript) for test automation. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) and version control systems like Git. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a focus on troubleshooting and problem-solving.Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in an agile development environment.

Mandatory Requirements:

Employees must have a high-speed broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of

50 Mbps

and the ability to set up a wired connection to their home network to ensure effective remote work. These requirements may be updated as needed by the business.
