Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Execution

· Develop and implement comprehensive test plans based on project goals

· Identify and prioritize test scenarios through collaboration with cross-functional teams

· Design and execute manual and automated test cases for functionality, performance, and usability

· Track and resolve defects using industry-standard bug-tracking tools

· Introduce and scale test automation for desktop application workflows

��� Continuous Improvement & Collaboration

· Stay up to date with QA tools, automation frameworks, and best practices

· Recommend and drive improvements to optimize quality assurance processes

· Participate in code reviews to enhance testability and maintainability

��� Documentation & Reporting

· Maintain test documentation including plans, scripts, and reports

· Track testing progress, coverage, and metrics

· Communicate results, issues, and risks clearly to stakeholders

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

· Proven experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester in a desktop application environment

· Strong in QA methodologies, test planning, and defect management

Java Swing GUI automation

Postman

·Experience in writing SQL queries for database validation

Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

· Experience using version control tools (e.g., Git)

· Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
