As a QA + API + SQL professional, you will be responsible for various roles and responsibilities as mentioned below: You will conduct Rest API functionality testing, verification, and validation for new feature APIs, enhancement APIs, and any relevant API changes. Your role will also involve API automation using industry-standard tools, ensuring efficient and effective testing processes. You will work as an individual contributor, proactively thinking and acting to find workarounds and achieve tasks even in the absence of sufficient information. Your tasks will include creating detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases, estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities. Reporting coding bugs or QA-related issues, identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will perform thorough regression testing after bug resolution, report bugs and errors to development teams, and stay updated with new testing tools and strategies. Your role will also involve executing test cases manually or through automation, analyzing results, conducting post-release/post-implementation testing, and establishing formal QA processes following industry best practices. You will be responsible for creating and executing end-to-end test plans, managing all activities to ensure objectives are met and the solution functions as expected. Providing technical guidance to team members, working in an agile environment, effectively communicating status, metrics, and issues regularly, and having at least 2+ years of experience as a lead tester supporting a team of Manual/Automation Testers are essential aspects of this role. In terms of skill sets, you should have expertise in REST API testing, different API methods (GET, POST, Synchronous & Asynchronous transactions), API automation scripts using Jmeter, Rest Assured, Java Script, Java, Selenium frameworks, regular expressions, assertions, logics, and core Java for test automation. Experience in web automation testing using Selenium Web driver, Page Object Model, IOS & Android mobile applications testing, end-to-end testing (unit, functional, manual, regression, database, system integration, user acceptance testing), defect tracking tools like Jira, database testing (SQL Server/Oracle), HTML/CSS/Java Script, defect analysis, client-server infrastructure testing, API testing, product testing, UI testing, and using Fiddler/Charles proxy Web debugger will be valuable for this role.,
