Python/Django Developer

Job Description: As a Python Django Developer at Pranathi Software Services Pvt Ltd, you will be responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will involve developing all server-side logic to ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in integrating front-end elements built by your colleagues into the application. Therefore, a fundamental understanding of front-end technologies is necessary for this role. To excel in this position, you must possess at least 2 years of experience in Python development. Proficiency in Python, particularly in Python web frameworks, is essential, with a strong emphasis on knowledge of the Django framework. Expertise in Django Rest Framework is a prerequisite for this role. Familiarity with Object Relational Mapper (ORM) libraries and the ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into a unified system are also key requirements. A good understanding of Python's threading limitations, multi-process architecture, server-side templating languages, as well as front-end technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML5, and CSS3, will be beneficial. While knowledge of React.js is an added advantage, it is not mandatory for this position. You should also be well-versed in accessibility and security aspects, user authentication, and authorization mechanisms across various systems and environments. Moreover, you are expected to comprehend fundamental design principles necessary for developing scalable applications, event-driven programming in Python, and optimizing output for different delivery platforms like mobile and desktop. The ability to create database schemas supporting business processes, along with strong unit testing and debugging skills, is crucial. Proficiency in using code versioning tools like Git, Mercurial, or SVN is expected.
