Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Primary School Dance Teacher (PRT) to join our vibrant academic team in Amalapuram, Andhra Pradesh. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in dance education and experience working with young children.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Teach various dance forms to students from Classes 1 to 5 (Indian classical, semi-classical, folk, and contemporary).
• Design engaging lesson plans and choreograph performances for school events and annual day functions.
• Encourage student participation and cultivate an interest in dance and rhythm.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate dance into the broader curriculum.
• Assess student performance and provide feedback for improvement.
• Maintain discipline and ensure a safe, fun learning environment.
• Organize and lead co-curricular dance activities, clubs, and competitions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Dance/Performing Arts or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience in a school setting.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and engage young learners.
• Open to both male and female candidates.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Amalapuram, Andhra Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
