Project Head / Manager /Sr. Manager - Civil

Job Overview:
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Civil Manager to oversee and manage civil engineering projects, particularly in theindustrial sector. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in project planning, estimation, costing, and managinglarge teams. This role will require expertise in the management of day-to-day project operations, including supervising aworkforce of approximately 100 laborers and ensuring that all project activities are completed efficiently, on time, and withinbudget. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Execution:Lead and manage all aspects of civil projects, from initial planning to execution. Overseethe preparation of detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines.Estimation & Costing:Responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for project materials, labor, and otherresources. Ensure the project stays within the allocated budget and identify cost-savingopportunities without compromising quality.Labor Management:Manage and supervise a team of approximately 100 laborers, ensuring high productivity andadherence to safety protocols. Provide leadership and resolve any workforce-related issuespromptly.Quality Control:Ensure all construction activities are executed according to the highest standards ofquality. Implement quality control measures, ensuring compliance with specifications,safety regulations, and industry standards.Site Management:Oversee day-to-day operations on the project site, including site logistics, managingsubcontractors, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure the smooth flow of resources andmaterials.Documentation & Reporting:Prepare and submit progress reports, project updates, and any necessary documentation tohigher management. Ensure proper record-keeping of all project-related documents.Risk Management:Identify potential project risks and devise strategies to mitigate them. Manage any changesto the project scope, cost, or schedule and ensure stakeholders are kept informed.Collaboration & Communication:Maintain effective communication with project teams, contractors, and clients. Act as thepoint of contact for stakeholders regarding project status, issues, and any changes in scopeor schedule.Safety & Compliance:Ensure the project site adheres to all health and safety regulations. Conduct regular safetyinspections and ensure that the team follows best practices to avoid accidents. Requisite Skills: Experience:o Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing industrial projects, preferably inconstruction or infrastructure.o Proven track record in project planning, estimation, and costing in industrial settings.o Experience managing large teams, particularly handling 100+ laborers, is highlydesirable.
