Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sr. Civil Engineer - Site, located in Ambernath.

Scope Includes :

1. To analyze and approve the concrete mix design, shuttering / centering scheme works of the Civil

Contractor

2. To co-ordinate the works of various contractors / sub-contractors / agencies at site to provide a

comprehensive coordinated project work and progress tracking at site.

3. Site Supervision of works at every stage to ensure quality control.

4. Ensure Safety adherence and have all works carried out to safe standards.

5. To inspect the work in progress, assist in the interpretation of all drawings and details as required by

site conditions and ensure conformity with design.

6. Arranging the Weekly and monthly meeting with contractors and update on work progress, quality

report, safety reporting, visuals, observations.

7. Daily planning with vendor to achieve the targets

8. Checking of Material coming on site and checking of the same as per requirement

9. Periodical checking of bills and certifying of the quantities shall be undertaken.

10. Preparation of snag list and closing the same in coordination with contractor.

11. Issue & Closure of the quality NCR issued to vendor

12. To inspect and suggest remedial measures for any defects arising in the post construction period.

13. Review and certify “As built” SLDs / schematic drawings from the vendors

14. Incorporating all the changes made at site and certify the same.

15. Site inspection on conformance of design intent.

16. Coordination with internal Project department and single point of contact with consultant to resolve

the issues

17. Proper documentation at site maintaining the same .

18. Keeping track of progress and delay if any along with clear establishment of reason of delay.

19. Preparation of preliminary estimate of work / BOQ as per the requirement

20. Checking the verifying the BOQ prepared by the consultants

21. Close check on the BOQ quantity during the work execution.

22. Maintaining the safety standards at site to ensure the WIP with all safety compliances

Qualifications

BE Civil or Diploma in civil having exp 9 to 12 yrs in Industrial project.
