Production Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and organize production schedules based on sales forecast and inventory requirements.
• Oversee day-to-day operations in rice flour, puttupodi, and spices ..production units.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials to achieve daily targets.
• Maintain product quality standards as per FSSAI and company specifications.
• Implement and monitor GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards in the production process.
• Coordinate with QA/QC team for quality checks and corrective actions.
• Ensure maintenance of machinery through preventive maintenance schedules.
• Monitor production yields, wastage levels, and initiate cost-saving measures.
• Manage workforce discipline, productivity, and training needs.
• Maintain accurate production records, daily reports, and inventory data.
• Ensure timely packing and dispatch coordination with warehouse and logistics.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement Lean or Kaizen initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.

Key Requirements:

• Graduate / Diploma in Food Technology, Mechanical, or any relevant discipline.
• Minimum 10-15 years of experience in FMCG food production (rice flour, puttupodi, spices preferred).
• Strong knowledge of food processing standards and machinery.
• Hands-on experience in team handling and shift management.
• Good understanding of quality and safety standards in food manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift
