Product Manager - Sales

As a Product Manager for Centrifugal Partition Chromatography (CPC) Systems at Inkarp, a 40-year-old scientific instrumentation company with a focus on analytical and life science technologies, you will be responsible for taking full ownership of CPC Systems across India. Your role goes beyond sales - it involves understanding the product's placement in the market, nurturing the market patiently, and providing the necessary knowledge and guidance to our teams and customers. Given that CPC Systems cater to a niche market within industries such as peptide manufacturing, natural product extraction, and advanced process chemistry, your expertise, honesty, and clarity will be crucial in building strong relationships with customers. You will have the autonomy to lead and shape the product line while receiving support from us. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing the complete product strategy for CPC Systems in India, identifying suitable industries and customer segments, collaborating with the sales team for lead generation, conducting feasibility studies and customer demos, coordinating with technical teams for support, managing the sales funnel, and ensuring post-sale engagement for successful system usage. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry, Biotech, or Pharma, with 4 to 6 years of experience in chromatography, purification workflows, or preparative systems. Experience in handling peptide synthesizers will be advantageous, along with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Travel readiness for customer visits, demos, and follow-ups is essential, as is a proactive and ownership-driven work approach.
