What You’ll Accomplish

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product designers, fostering growth and high performance.
• Set and communicate a clear design vision and strategy for the CareHub platform, aligned with company goals.
• Drive end-to-end design processes, from discovery and ideation through delivery and iteration, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Clinical, and Operations partners to deliver cohesive, user-centered solutions.
• Champion design best practices, accessibility, and inclusive design principles across the team.
• Use data and user research to inform design decisions and measure impact.
• Advocate for the needs of both members and clinicians, ensuring our solutions are intuitive and effective.
• Contribute to the evolution of Hinge Health’s design culture and processes.

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in product design, with at least 2 years in a people management or lead role.
• Experience working with product, engineering, and other cross-functional teams.
• Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work.
• Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualification

• Experience designing for healthcare, wellness, or complex enterprise platforms.
• Deep understanding of accessibility and inclusive design standards.
• Strong skills in user research, usability testing, and data-driven design.
• Experience scaling design systems and processes.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels.
• Advanced degree in a design-related field.
