Role Description

Kumaran Engineering Pvt. Ltd is looking for a full-time Procurement/Purchase Officer to join their team in Bhopal. The Procurement/Purchase Officer will be responsible for managing the procurement process, from sourcing and selecting suppliers to negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. The Procurement/Purchase Officer will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with suppliers, monitoring supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Receive purchase indent from product in-charge or concerned department through SAP. Regular procurement of material from reliable source. Quality material at competitive prices with proper delivery time. Regular procurement related activities entering in S.A.P. Explore new suppliers for existing (wherever required) and new procurement. Inventory Planning for Raw materials and Consumables. Coordinating with Supplier for defective Materials received or any other issues.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the sheet metal, engineering industry in similar role
• Bachelor's degree preferably in Engineering Department, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Thorough knowledge of SAP ERP
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and procedures
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Resident of Bhopal or like to settle in Bhopal.
