Process Designer

Preparation of Process Flow diagrams, P&IDs and Hydraulic flow diagram as per Mark-up and Equipment List.

Read and fully understand P&ID's and other documents which describe the scope of work.

Ensure engineering works are completed according to agreed project budget and schedule.

Prepare drawings with minimal rework required.With minimal supervision prepare simple to complex engineering P&ID drawings and updates from basic red-line (as-built) data supplied.

Interpret Engineering mark-ups and accurately make drawing corrections.

Adhere to AutoCad and Document Management System (M-Files) and other document control requirements.

Proficiently identify field, mechanical equipment, electrical, instrumentation and piping components.Attend design review meetings as required.

Completion of certified drafting course

Qualifications in AutoCAD or related plant modelling software

Experience / Knowledge

More than 5 years’ experience in the Process or Proposal Department of water and/or wastewater Project organisation.

Knowledge of various piping standards, classes and materials for various applications is essential.

Experience working with Plant Modelling software

Experience working with 3D Design Software such as AutoCad

Experience with SMART P&IDs

Experience in project delivery, Design Management of water and/or wastewater treatment plants

International experience or familiar with international standards
