About the Role:

• We seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Data Scientist with specialized expertise in banking and financial services
• The successful candidate will lead innovative data science initiatives focusing primarily on marketing analytics, cross-sell strategies, and pricing models
• You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to address complex business challenges using advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical techniques, significantly contributing to the business growth and success of our banking clients

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic, end-to-end data science projects in the banking domain, specifically focusing on marketing analytics, cross-selling, customer lifetime value modeling, and pricing strategies
• Design, develop, and deploy sophisticated machine learning models, predictive analytics, and statistical models to enhance marketing effectiveness and optimize pricing strategies
• Partner closely with business stakeholders to translate complex business challenges into actionable analytical solutions and clearly communicate analytical outcomes and insights
• Collaborate effectively with Data Engineering and Analytics teams to ensure robust data pipelines and seamless integration of analytical solutions
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and excellence
• Present clear and impactful insights to senior stakeholders and business leaders, driving data-driven decision-making at the organizational level
• Continuously explore and incorporate emerging technologies and methodologies within data science, marketing analytics, and pricing strategies

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Masters or PhDdegree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in advanced analytics/data science roles specifically within banking or financial services (mandatory)
• Demonstrated expertise in marketing analytics, cross-sell modeling, customer segmentation, pricing optimization, and customer lifetime value analytics
• Proficiency in SAS/ Python/R, SQL, and key ML frameworks and librariesStrong understanding of statistical methodologies, machine learning, deep learning algorithms, and data visualization tools
• Experience working with Dataiku is advantageous
• Exceptional problem-solving, analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
