Hiring GM Contracts with 18 to 24 years of experience in the real estate/construction industry. Civil or Mechanical Engineer with post-graduation in contract management or QS would be a plus for this role. You would be responsible to provide leadership, direction and strategic vision in the development of the contract award and procurement process to ensure a seamless, reliable and cost-effective contract award cycle that helps in building excellence. Role & responsibilities: Responsible for leading contracts and procurement measures and initiatives for the vertical that lead to smooth functioning of projects. Build teams knowledge and awareness of the latest technologies, industrial engineering, and academic certifications for contract management Introduce methods and modelling tools like Building Information Modelling (BIM) to minimise time and effort for the whole contract cycle Identifying all contractual risks and tracking proposed mitigation plans and corrective actions till closure Responsible to provide quantifiable risk impact value for the project for further action by relevant teams Proactively identify current and probable obstacles and suggest resolutions As a leader of the Contracts team, be responsible for reviewing end to end contract lifecycle for all the projects Oversee execution and standardisation of processes for the departments smooth functioning. Oversee the team's maintenance and digitisation of documentation as per the set process (tender communications, quotations, MOM, relevant contract documents, and external facing documents) using ERP Tools Interpret special contract provisions and provide appropriate advice and guidance for the closure of the contracts. Responsible for overseeing vendor management processes pre and post contract awarding. Evaluate the vendors for products that will help in terms of cost, quality, time, and reduce dependency on labour e.g. using precast methods Ensure vendors follow statutory compliance and help them wherever they require clarifications Responsible for establishing the best practices for standardisation and digitalization of vendor onboarding and management, major purchase orders, major work orders, Professional Service Agreement. Implement the use of FIDIC documents and IS1200 for all major contracts. Responsible for fostering an environment of learning, excellence, and innovation in the domain of contracts and procurement. Preferred candidate profile: Civil/Mechanical Engineer with 18 to 24 years of experience in real estate vertical into complete contracts and procurement/QS Candidates with PG in Contract Management or QS will be preferred Certification from MRICS/RICS/AACE would be a plus.

Team Leadership (If Applicable): Manage and mentor a team of quantity surveyors and cost control professionals (depending on the size of the team and responsibilities). Qualifications: B.E./ B.Tech in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering. A Master's degree (e.g., MBA in , Construction Management/ Quantity Surveying) or professional certification is highly desirable. Minimum of 18 years of progressive experience in quantity surveying, cost management, and billing, with a significant focus on real estate development projects (residential, commercial, mixed-use). Demonstrated experience in managing project budgets of significant scale and complexity within the real estate industry.
